’till death do us part …

by Ryan Pitt

As the end of the year approaches, time is running out to plan and fund our wedding. When your fiance tells you that she wants to re-book the wedding venue, funds are seemingly low and your original venue is being refurbished, what do you do?

What else, but distract ourselves from the wedding troubles, and offer my fiance this incredible idea for a wedding cake?

Cake artist and bride Natalie Sideserf spent 40 hours creating this phenomenon for her movie-themed wedding, with groom David Sideserf. After coming across this article at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2488240/Till-death-Couple-create-gruesome-wedding-cake-bloody-severed-heads.html, I proposed such an idea to my fiance, Rebekah, her response was: ‘YAY, I NEED IT’.

As zombie-lovers and ‘The Walking Dead’ fanatics, we both share a need for this imaginative creation. And we aren’t fans of the conventional and traditional cakes that cost around the £500 price-mark. I’m not saying we’re up for an appearance on ‘Don’t Tell the Bride’, but with our heads being on display, our relations are in for a definite shock.

I don’t think we’ll be up for a jam filling, though…
